Lucio Elevate Mode
Elevate is Lucio's advanced working mode for complex legal tasks. Instead of simply generating text responses, Elevate can analyze multiple types of files, reason across complex information, and create polished work products such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and visual outputs.
Beta Feature
Elevate is currently in beta. Because it supports a wide range of complex workflows, you may occasionally encounter unexpected behaviour or edge cases that we haven't yet identified.

What's in Elevate
More ways for Lucio to read, reason, and create. Elevate builds the actual deliverables you need for a transaction or client meeting, going far beyond standard text replies:
Create files directly: Ask Elevate to generate documents, presentations, charts, redlines, structured reports, and more.
Analyse more file types: Elevate is able to analyze spreadsheets, presentations, audio files, and visual materials. If you need to crunch more than text, turn to Elevate.
Audio Transcription and Analysis: Upload audio files of your depositions, calls, meetings; and start asking questions or ask for a transcription of the file.
Examples of innovative workflows unlocked with Elevate:
“Duplicate this letter / notice / certificate into 5 copies, addressed to P, Q, R, S and T respectively.”
“Collate these PDFs into a single binder.”
“Prepare a list of documents in excel format, enumerating the attached files.”
“Generate a pitch deck for my personal injury practice based on the attached credentials.”
How to Unlock and Trigger Elevate
First-time access: To unlock Elevate for the first time, simply drag and drop a PowerPoint or Excel file into your chat on Assistant.
Manual trigger: After your first use, you can easily turn Elevate on or off using the toggle located right beside the modes in your chat box.
Automatic activation: Elevate activates automatically anytime the documents you upload include a presentation, spreadsheet, or an audio file. If you want to disable it, deselect the .xlsx or .ppt files from your uploads and disable the Elevate toggle.

How does Elevate interact with the Knowledge Base?
When you unlock Elevate, you will also gain access to the ‘Knowledge Base’ feature. Tailor Lucio’s knowledge on your or your firm's precedents, playbooks, and preferences. Once you have provided such instructions on the Knowledge Base and made it applicable to your organization, anybody in the organisation who asks Lucio to perform a corresponding task will get a response from Lucio keeping in mind the Knowledge Base instructions.
Why does Elevate take longer to respond?
Elevate is building and formatting actual files. Hence, it takes longer to deliver a final result than a standard chat response. For basic legal or research questions or quick document summaries, you could switch to standard Review and Research modes for faster answers.
