What is Elevate?
Elevate is Lucio's advanced working mode for complex legal tasks. Unlike standard modes that return text responses, Elevate can analyse more file types and build actual deliverables like documents, spreadsheets, presentations, redlines, and structured reports directly from your chat.
Is Elevate available to everyone?
Elevate is currently in beta. If you encounter unexpected behaviour, submit feedback using the in-app help button.
How do I turn on Elevate for the first time?
Drag and drop a PowerPoint or Excel file into your chat on Assistant. This unlocks Elevate for your account.
How do I turn Elevate on or off after that?
Use the toggle next to the modes in your chat box to switch Elevate on or off at any time.
Does Elevate turn on automatically?
Yes. Elevate activates automatically when your uploads include a spreadsheet, presentation, or audio file. To disable it, deselect the .xlsx or .ppt files from your uploads and disable the Elevate toggle.
What file types can Elevate analyse that standard modes cannot?
Elevate can read and reason across spreadsheets, presentations, audio files, and visual materials, in addition to the standard PDF and Word documents.
Can Elevate transcribe audio files?
Yes. Upload a deposition recording, client call, or meeting audio and ask Elevate to transcribe it or answer questions about its contents.
What kinds of files can Elevate create?
Documents, spreadsheets, presentations, charts, redlines, and structured reports, built and formatted as actual files you can download and use.
What happened to Dual Language Drafter?
Elevate covers the same output. Use Elevate mode for any dual language drafting tasks.
What is the Knowledge Base and how does it connect to Elevate?
Unlocking Elevate also gives you access to the Knowledge Base, where you can upload your firm's precedents, playbooks, and preferences. Once set at the organisation level, Lucio applies this knowledge to every relevant response for anyone in your organisation.
Why does Elevate take longer to respond than standard modes?
Elevate is building and formatting actual files, not just generating text. For quick questions, document summaries, or legal research, standard Review and Research modes will be faster.
