Step 5: Set Date Format Preferences

Choose how dates should display based on how they're presented in your uploads.

Step 6: Select the Timeline’s Event Voice

Pick how Lucio will phrase events. Use passive voice for a formal tone, active for concise summaries, or set a custom style such as aligning events with the plaintiff's view.

Step 7: Tag Important Issues

Add tags like Contract, Deadline, or Meeting to help filter events later when you want to review timelines by key topics.

Step 8: Create the Project

Click Create. Lucio starts extracting events and generates your timeline.

Step 9: Review the Timeline

Once Lucio processes your files, you'll see a compiled timeline. Each row shows the date, an event label, and a detailed description. The timeline updates interactively as you explore.

Step 10: Source Verification

Each event links back to where it came from in the original document. Click the link to open the right page in the document viewer for quick verification.

Step 11: Export the Report

Ready to share or analyze offline? Export the chronology as a Word report. The export includes both a consolidated view and separate timelines per document.

Step 12: Further Chronology Refinement

Refine your timeline with chat-based filters—like requesting to see all dates mentioning the plaintiff.
