Translation

Translate legal documents from any Indian vernacular or foreign language, accurately for quick reference.

Lucio's translator tool is designed to offer a quick and efficient solution for translating documents from any Non-English language into English. To start, all you need to do is upload the document that needs translation.

Lucio will automatically identify the language of the document and produce an English version in Word format. Once the document has been processed, you can download the translated version in the form of a Word file.

This translation serves as a quick guide to the document's content. After the processing is complete, we can download the translated version of the document in either word or PDF format

OCR

OCR - Optical Character Recognition

Generate searchable OCR copies of scanned documents. Lucio is tailored for the typical quality of Indian scans.

Using Lucio's OCR feature, you can convert scanned documents into editable versions.

First, Upload the scanned document.

After the processing is complete, we can download the OCR version of the document.

OCR version of the document can be downloaded in two formats:

1. Word Format - document is processed for higher accuracy and readability

2. OCR PDF – Standard OCR processed PDF retaining original layout.

Sorting Hat

Lawyers are often provided unstructured data rooms by their Clients, with poorly named and scattered documents. They spend a significant amount of time sorting these documents and bucketing them into different issues. Sorting Hat helps to instantly bucket documents into specific issues. Let's say you have a set of contracts for an M&A deal, and you want to sort them by document type. Or let's say you have a set of correspondences in a Roads Project, and you want to sort them by issues of change of scope, delay in handover, and other issues.

Start by creating a Project. Upload the files that need to be sorted.

Then outline your 'buckets'. You can determine if each bucket corresponds with a keyword search or a description search. You can add or delete multiple buckets as necessary.

For example, if you're categorizing contracts by jurisdiction, you simply select

'description' and input your label, which is the title of your bucket, and then enter your description.

Templatized sorting options are also available at the top. If you select the

'project correspondences' or ‘data room’ option, all the buckets will be automatically filled with suitable labels and descriptions.

If you want each document to fall within one bucket, select the 'exclusive sort' option. If you leave this option unchecked, a single document could fall into multiple buckets.

Provide two pieces of information:

The first one is the data you want to extract from each document, regardless of its category. And the format in which you want this data to be extracted.

By default, the date and summary of each document will be extracted.

Once your project is set up, you can access it to see documents sorted into the defined buckets.

You can view all the documents with the relevant date and tags, and you also have the option to add tags to reclassify them into a different bucket.

Switching to the detailed view provides you the date, a summary, and any other data that you wanted to extract from the document.

You also have the option to add new documents to the existing project.

You can generate reports for the sorted documents in Word or Excel format.

You can update the sorting instructions by clicking on the 'update schema' button to add more buckets or change their description or keywords as needed.

Finally, you can bulk download all the documents in different folders as per the bucket in which they are sorted.

You can choose which folders to download and how each downloaded file should be renamed by rearranging the cards.
